
Wolfgang Reed

Wolfgang Reed is a performer, writer and instrumentalist. Whilst studying at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), Wolfgang was involved in a production of Oh, “What a Lovely War, Mate!” (dir. Maude Davey), as The MC; David in “Company” (dir. Rodger Hodgman) and was an ensemble member in “Morning Melodies: Best of Broadway”. He also played the role of one of The Tall Brothers in the VCA performance of The “Drowsy Chaperone” (dir. Alister Smith).
Since graduating, Wolfgang has played numerous characters in projects varying from short films to plays. Wolfgang featured as the lead in “Blind” (dir. Michelle Keating) and later in that year played Floggit in the touring production of The Gizmo. Wolfgang was a part of a new Australian work called "Waiting On You" (dir. Gabby Pearson) playing Alessandro. In 2019, Wolfgang played Mercutio in GJ Production’s "Romeo and Juliet" (dir. Jack Wilkinson) and Claudio in Artefact Theatre’s “Much Ado About Nothing” (dir. Matthew Cox). For the last three years Wolfgang has been a part of Complete Works Theater Company’s various Shakepare tours and productions (dir. Andrew Blackman).
