Shakey Slam
What is a Shakey Slam? It's a monologue slam with a Shakespearean twist! 30 actors perform a two minute Shakespeare monologue of their choice in one of three categories student/graduate, drama or comedy.
Our esteemed panel of judges then award points to each artist for a variety of different skills including comprehension of text, vocal dexterity and audience engagement, each artist is given a total score out of 120 and the artist with the most points in that category is crowned our champion!
There is also an additional prize voted for by the audience as well as some Shakespeare related stand up comedy and live music. What's not to love?
