Kirby Lunn

Kirby Lunn made her professional theatre debut at the age of 18 in the original Australian cast of ‘Hairspray’. Other Australian credits include ‘Eurobeat- Almost Eurovision’ and Sarah in ‘Rolling Thunder Vietnam’. 

She has recently returned home to Australia after performing in New York and London for the last few years. While in the states, Kirby stared as Elle Woods in ‘Legally Blonde’, Amber Von Tussle in ‘Hairspray’ and Lorraine in ‘Bubble Boy’ (Off Broadway). Her time in America was completed by joining the North American company of ‘Kinky Boots,’ under the original direction of the incomparable Jerry Mitchell.

United Kingdom credits include Maureen in ‘RENT’ and ‘Diva’ (off west end). Kirby is also an up-and-coming writer, her new play ‘Messhead’ debuted at Edinburgh Fringe Festival to rave reviews. The Edinburgh Guide even calling it “the play you didn’t know you needed.” Most recently, she studied clowning in France at the world-renowned Ecole Gaulier, making her an official silly goose.
