Soothsayer/Menecrates

Angelo Torres is an actor and musician drawn to bold, provocative storytelling across stage and screen. A 2024 graduate of WAAPA, Angelo has built a diverse body of work, performing with Opera Australia and in two successful Australian productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He has worked with Black Swan State Theatre Company and the physical theatre company Legs On The Wall on the development of new works, while also composing music for an Old Fitz Theatre show and an upcoming new work coming to Melbourne Fringe. On screen, Angelo has appeared in several festival short films and leads an independent feature film currently in post-production.

Tasnim Hossain), A Winter's Tale (Leontes, dir. Teresa Jakovich), Tartuffe (Loyal, dir. Trent Baker), Harp in the South (Lick Jimmy, dir. Andrew Lewis), Three Sisters (Baron, dir. Will O’Mahony), Life of Galileo (Federonzi, dir. Michael McCall), and Nora: A Doll's House (Daniel, dir. Sonya Suares), combining acting with music-making across multiple productions.
