Tomàš Kantor

Orpheus

Tomáš Kantor is a multidisciplinary performing artist from Melbourne. They trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London before completing their BFA at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2019.

Tomáš has been celebrated for their work onstage, notably as ‘Toby Darling’ in The Inheritance (fortyfivedownstairs), ‘Lost Boy’ in Watershed (Opera Australia), and ‘Feste’ in Twelfth Night (Bell Shakespeare). They star in the critically acclaimed cabaret SUGAR (Bullet Heart Club), which has toured globally. Later this year, Tomáš will perform as ‘Freddy Honeychurch’ in A Room With A View (Belvoir/Melbourne Theatre Company).

Recent credits include: TRUTH (Malthouse Theatre), Slap. Bang. Kiss. (Melbourne Theatre Company), Fangirls (Belvoir), West Side Story (Opera Australia/GWB), The Lovers (Bell Shakespeare), Things I Know To Be True (Theatre Works), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown (Hayes Theatre Company), The Divine Miss Bette (Darlinghurst Theatre Company), and Meow Meow's Pandemonium (MSO/Arts Centre).
