Will Lopez
Theseus
Will was on Long Island to a Cuban-American father and Australian mother. He discovered a passion for storytelling early, studying and performing Shakespeare from age 11.
He attended NYU for Film and TV Production, with a focus on writing, directing, and producing. Will worked on major Hollywood and indie productions before relocating to Melbourne in 2011, where he spent the next 10 years as a touring and recording musician, primarily creating music under the alias Willie Coyote.
A graduate of the Howard Fine Acting School, he was selected for the 2024 Masterclass. His recent theatre credits include Howie in Rabbit Hole (Williamstown LT, Winner VDL Best Actor 2025), the loveable Bank Manager in the musical Once (Chapel off Chapel), the deliciously diabolical Roat in Wait Until Dark (Heidelberg TC), and the brash young scientist James Watson in Photograph 51 (Williamstown LT, Nom. VDL Best Supporting Actor 2024). Will is the proud father of a 5 year old daughter.
