Jessica David

Sam

Jessica is a Sri Lankan performer raised and based in Melbourne. She trained at the Ballarat Arts Academy, graduating with a Bachelor of Performing Arts. While studying, she collaborated on After Joan (music & movement) and performed in A Girl’s Guide to World War (Nurse Higgins), The Spirit Level (Hermione Banks & movement team), and Crush: The Musical (Brenda Smears).

Recent credits include Dennis and the Dazzling Dentistry Facility (The Butterfly Club X Melbourne One Act Play Festival), Antilton (Theatreworks X Melbourne International Comedy Festival) - praised for her “great physical comedy” (Lilithia Reviews) - and Space Pirates (Gasworks Art Park X Melbourne Fringe).

Offstage, Jess is a choreographer and dance teacher, passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers. She is thrilled to be joining the cast of The Teddy Bear's Picnic and to share this adventure with audiences.
