Gisele Forsyth

Hortensia

Gisele Forsyth (she/her) is a Naarm/Melbourne based actor, performer and creative, graduating in 2025 from the Victorian College of The Arts with a BFA in Theatre.

Passionate about portraying dynamic characters and telling compelling stories with a flair for the dramatic, comedic and absurd, some of Gisele’s recent credits include ‘The End Is Never The’, (VCA devised 2025), ‘ANTIGONE’ (VCA, dir. Joe Paradise-Lui), ‘PHASES’ (Arts Centre Melbourne’s Alter State Festival, dir. Josh Pether), ‘Fix Him’ (Muse Fest. by Alex Fimeri) and self-written and performed solo work ‘Papa est un Corbeau’ (Testing Grounds 2025).

In addition to acting, Gisele has pursued her love of dancing since the age of 3, training and competing at a national level in Jazz and Contemporary styles. Interested in all things stage and screen, Gisele also co-hosts ‘Worth a Watch’ a live radio podcast discussing and reviewing local and international films, theatre shows and events.

Gisele is excited to be making her Melbourne Shakespeare Company debut in this production of ‘The Taming of the Shrew’.
