Carl Whiteside

Director

Carl is excited to be returning for his third collaboration with Melbourne Shakespeare Company following Adventures in Neverland and Robin Hood.

Carl is a producer and director who trained at the University of Manchester in the UK and is the Artistic Director of Meerkat Productions, a nationally touring company performing theatre for young people.

His recent directorial credits include Exiles by James Joyce (45 Downstairs); Stockholm by Bryony Lavery (Et Tu Theatre); Samuel Beckett and the Rainbow Girl (Bloomsday In Melbourne); Train Cake, Mastress of Ceremonies and Dream House with Heather Valentine for Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

UK credits include: Macbeth; Death and The Maiden by Ariel Dorfman; Oleanna by David Mamet; Stags & Hens by Willy Russell and Kiss Me Kate.
